Since the beginning of February I've been working at Denny's Corporate Headquarters in the Marketing Department. Who knew Denny's was headquartered in South Carolina? I bet you didn't! It has been such a great experience! I've learned more in the past couple of months then I learned in my 4 years of college. Seriously. Ok, so some really exciting things have happened since I started working at Denny's. And I'm here to tell you about them...
The Denny's Tower houses the United Way of Piedmont on one of it's
floors so one week every year Denny's and the United Way team up to
raise money. A couple of Fridays ago we had a Tour Day and got to visit 4
agencies around Spartanburg that the United Way helps fund. It was a
real eye opener. One, to see first hand that there are real problems and real people in need in our community. Two, there are lots of
non-profit agencies helping our community become a better place! I
really enjoyed all the visits.

Mid-April my aunt and I ran in a 5k to support the American Heart
Association. It wasn't timed or anything. It was purely to raise money
for the association. Denny's sponsored me.

And for the grand finale of pictures! Hello, San Diego! Two weeks ago I was arriving in San Diego for a business trip. It was a great experience. San Diego is beautiful and I'm really grateful that I got to go! (Although I had to skip the Braves game back home.)
